MaxLinear to provide chipsets for CIG whole-home Wi-Fi and 4K video

Tuesday 24 October 2017 | 12:46 CET | News
MaxLinear will provide its G.hn Wave-2 chipsets for the Cambridge Industries Group (CIG) to build four new products aimed at helping carriers address the gigabit home-networking market and bring whole-home Wi-Fi with 4K video without buffering delays or packet drops. CIG is a global original and joint design manufacturer (ODM/JDM) based in Shanghai with US headquarters in Santa Clara, California. The new family of products developed by the company will help service providers deliver up to 2 Gbps over any coaxial cable, without point-of-entry filters or splitter replacement.
