Germany's Media Broadcast announced it has found purchasers for all of its VHF antennas in a multi-step sale process. The company said these recent transactions mark the end of the sale of its VHF infrastructure in Germany and that it will focus its efforts on digital transmission platforms for radio and television like DVB-T2 HD and freenet TV as well as service activities in future.

Media Broadcast said it will now work closely with the purchasers and other parties involved to ensure a seamless transmission in broadcasting operations and prepare for the handover of technical equipment. This step should be completed by the end of March 2018, said the company. Media Broadcast will continue to offer services in transmitter technology, antenna maintenance and network services. All parties involved in these transactions have agreed to remain silent on the financial details of the entire sale process, said Media Broadcast.
