Media Broadcast targets 67 mln mobile listeners with second national DAB+ platform

Media Broadcast has revealed details of the network for a second national digital radio DAB+ platform. The second platform will enable around 67 million people to receive up to sixteen channels on mobile devices via Antennae Deutschland, a joint venture between Media Broadcast and Absolut Digital. About 83 percent of the population will be served from 71 locations which will start to operate in October when broadcast begins, or in some cases shortly afterwards.
