MediaMarkt launches smartphone first-aid service

Tuesday 14 August 2018 | 10:19 CET | News
MediaMarkt has introduced a smartphone repair service in its shops in Germany. The so-called first aid service enables customers to have their broken smartphone repaired within one to two hours. Changing a smartphone battery costs from EUR 49 and screen repair starts at EUR 79. Customers simply bring their broken device into a MediaMarkt shop, irrespective of whether it was bought at MediaMarkt or not, and after a brief check, the technician informs the customer when they can pick up their mended smartphone.
