Megacable profit up 12% on broadband demand in Q4

Mexican triple play operator Megacable reported consolidated revenues of MXN 5.78 billion in the fourth quarter of 2020, up 2.6 percent year on year, with net profit surging 12 percent to MXN 942 million on the back of high demand for broadband services for home schooling and working. The company's consolidated EBITDA climbed 9.3 percent year on year to MXN 2.77 billion in the fourth quarter, with a consolidated margin of 47.9 percent, up 3 percentage points.
