Megafon, Beeline plan joint LTE deployment - report

Russian mobile operators Megafon and Beeline plan to sign an agreement on the joint deployment of LTE networks, reports Interfax citing sources in the telecommunications market. The operators have submitted applications on the network cooperation to the State Radio Frequencies Centre (SRFC), which is currently assessing the proposal. Federal telecommunications regulator Roskomnadzor will allocate spectrum to the operators on the basis of the results of the analysis. Both companies declined to comment on the report. Beeline already has an agreement with MTS to share LTE network
