Megafon, Safaricom, Telenet join Big Data for Social Good initiative

The GSMA has announced that mobile operators Megafon, Safaricom and Telenet have joined the Big Data for Social Good initiative, which was launched in February to leverage mobile operators' big data capabilities in addressing epidemics and humanitarian crises. The three operators joined previously announced operators Bharti Airtel, Deutsche Telekom, Hutchison, KDDI, KT, Millicom, MTS, NTT Docomo., Orange, SK Telecom, Telefonica, Telenor, Telia, Turkcell, Vodafone and Zain.
