MEPs warn against weaker net neutrality legislation

A group of 131 members of the European Parliament have called for a clear definition of net neutrality in EU legislation. In an open letter, they said net neutrality is a necessity to ensuring the internal market for digital services. The letter was presented by Marietje Schaake, the Dutch MEP leading the campaign, and comes ahead of a key meeting of EU telecom ministers to discuss the future of the so-called Connected Continent legislation.
