MercadoLibre picks AWS as primary cloud provider

Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced a contract to become the primary cloud provider of Latin American e-commerce giant MercadoLibre. Headquartered in Argentina and Brazil, MercadoLibre is the largest online commerce and payments provider in Latin America and connects businesses across 18 countries with more than 76 million active users. AWS said the deal will serve to further transform the company into a data-driven organisation, improve user experiences, accelerate the launch of new services and support its regional expansion.
