Merger of Telkom Kenya and Airtel misses 27 September deadline

The planned merger of Airtel and Telkom Kenya is hanging in the balance as an investigation by the anti-corruption watchdog stretches beyond the completion deadline agreed between the two companies, Business Daily reported. They had had set 27 September as the final date by which they were to have negotiated and signed the agreement that they announced in February.
