Metronet (UK) responds to Ofcom report

Business communications provider Metronet (UK) believes that failing to fully separate Openreach from BT will not resolve the lengthy installation times and poor service businesses experience today from this monopoly provider. Following the publication of Ofcom's strategic review, Metronet said it agreed with Ofcom CEO Sharon White that people in the UK 'need , reliable phone and broadband services'. Andy Lockwood, Chairman Metronet (UK), said that the time taken for Openreach to install business grade connectivity was unacceptable and damaging British businesses ability to compete
