MetroPCS letter cites benefits of T-Mobile combination

MetroPCS has mailed a letter to stockholders outlining the expected benefits from MetroPCS' proposed merger with T-Mobile USA. The letter addresses certain assumptions in the report from independent advisory firm ISS, which earlier recommended shareholders vote against the merger. In the letter the MetroPCS board unanimously recommends that stockholders vote their shares for all of the proposals relating to the proposed combination by returning the green proxy card. The proposed combination will provide MetroPCS' stockholders with an immediate USD 1.5 billion aggregate cash payment, or
