Mexican court dismisses Rivada suit against 'Red Compartida' award

A Mexican court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the Rivada Networks consortium questioning the legality of the tender for the country's wholesale shared network (Red Compartida), reports Milenio. Mexico City's second district court specialising in telecommunications and economic competition confirmed that the lawsuit filed by Rivada against the country's Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT) could not be accepted and that the SCT's actions in disqualifying Rivada from the bidding process back in 2016 was legal.
