Mexican mobile lines rose to between 116.2 and 116.4 million at the end of the first quarter, around 3.8 percent up on the year-earlier result, according to the latest data released by Telconomia. The country's mobile network operators Telcel (America Movil), Movistar (Telefonica) and AT&T Mexico accounted for some 114.9 million, or over 98 percent of those lines, with Mexico's MVNOs still posting a sub-2 percent share of the market with between 1.31 million and 1.57 million lines, said the report.
