Mexican telecom consumer complaints down 3% in Q1

Mexico's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) said the 'Soy Usuario' online consumer platform it runs with consumer protection agency Profeco received 7,204 complaints about telecom services in the first quarter of 2021, down around 3 percent compared to the previous quarter. The vast majority of the complaints (79%) have already been resolved, 11.4 percent are still being processed while the remaining 10 percent or so were cancelled by the users themselves.
