Mexican telecommunications complaints fall in Q4

The 'Soy Usuario' online consumer platform received a total of 3,274 complaints in the fourth quarter of 2017, around 7 percent less than the amount registered a year earlier, according to the country's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) and consumer protection agency Profeco. Around 45.6 percent of the complaints corresponded to mobile telephony services, 31.6 percent to internet services, and 8.3 percent to both fixed telephony and pay-TV services.
