Mexico grants Disney another 3 months to divest Fox Sports

Mexico's Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT) has granted The Walt Disney Company and Twenty-First Century Fox a further 3-month extension to divest the Fox Sports channels, this time due to the effects of the coronavirus epidemic. The regulator said it accepted the parties' request for a new extension in view of the current situation, meaning they now have until 03 August to sell the Fox Sports channels in Mexico.
