Mexico launches tender for broadband project
The Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT) has launched a tender for the deployment of 1,100 broadband lines at educational and government institutions, research centers and hospitals. The project will see the deployment of 40 high-speed broadband networks in 40 metropolitan areas across Mexico. The tender winner will be announced in the next few days.

Mexican fixed-line operator Axtel has won a broadband project tender launched by the Mexican Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT). The project will see the deployment of broadband connections in 40 metropolitan areas across Mexico.
