Mexico migrates TV channel in plan to free up 600MHz band

Mexico has taken more steps in its plan to become the first country to fully liberate spectrum in the 600MHz band for 5G services. In a statement, communications regulator IFT said it completed the migration of a Mexico City-based pay TV channel owned by Comband from channel 51 in the 600MHz band to channel 2 on the VHF (54-60MHz) band.
