Mexico's GuruComm to offer internet via Red Compartida network

Wednesday 29 August 2018 | 10:58 CET | News
Mexican operator GuruComm has become the first company to launch services via the country's 'Red Compartida' wholesale 4G shared network on the 700MHz band, reports El Universal. The fixed-wireless broadband service for residential and business users can be activated once users acquire a router for MXN 1,799 (around USD 95) and sign up to monthly, half-year or annual plans. Usage ranges from 20GB of data at 10Mbps speeds for MXN 239 a month to 150GB at 20Mbps for MXN 699, said the report.
