Mexico's MegaCable expands corporate presence

Mexican cable operator Megacable is looking to acquire an operator that will help it compete with rival Telmex in the country's lucrative corporate segment, reports business daily El Economista, citing the company's deputy general manager Raymundo Fernandez. An operator offering video, voice, data hosting or cloud services for corporate and government customers would allow Megacable to continue building its presence in a sector that's seen its specialist units ho1a and MetroCarrier quadruple their revenues over the past five years, said Fernandez.
