Mexico's Oui Movil to launch home internet offer on 'Red Compartida'

Mexican MVNO Oui Movil, owned by retail chain Grupo Elektra, is set to become the latest operator to launch a residential fixed-wireless broadband service via the country's'Red Compartida' wholesale 4G shared network on the 700MHz band, reports Xataka Mexico. The service will be called 'Oui-Fi' and comes with a 4G modem offering internet access at speeds of up to 300Mbps on up to 32 connected devices. It will be available in the 18 cities in which the 'Red Compartida' network is currently active, said the report.
