Michael Dell backing call to allow 5G in 12GHz band - report

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) should come up with new rules that allow 5G operations in the 12GHz spectrum band, according to a company backed by billionaire Michael Dell. The MSD Capital management firm of the Dell family is supporting a company called RS Access that's urging the FCC to have another look at the rules around operations in the 12GHz band, reports Light Reading. Noah Campbell, acquired 12GHz assets and spectrum leases from MDS America that were purchased in the FCC's 12GHz MVDDS spectrum auctions in 2004 and
