Microsoft, Alibaba back open standard for cloud apps

Microsoft has joined forces with Alibaba Cloud to create a new standard for building cloud-native applications with Kubernetes. The Open Application Model (OAM) specification is designed to enable developers to define the key elements their applications need to run on Kubernetes clusters, said Microsoft in a blog post.
