Microsoft buys Israeli video streaming co Peer5

Microsoft announced that it has acquired Israel-based video streaming company, Peer5. No financial details were disclosed. Peer5's technology will help businesses using Microsoft's software keep up with streaming needs as communications increasingly move online, especially since the onset of the pandemic. Microsoft said it would use Peer5's platform to assist hybrid working by enhancing live video streaming in Microsoft Teams.
