Microsoft collects Bing take-down requests

Microsoft has published an on-line form for European users of its Bing search engine to request the de-indexing of information shown in results when searching for their name if the information is outdated or irrelevant. Google has already done the same to comply with the so-called 'right to be forgotten' ruling by the ECJ in May, and said it was learning as it went along, when weighing the need for transparency and the right to privacy.
