Microsoft recruits 130 software engineers in Paris for Zune

Microsoft has increased its R&D staff in France by hiring of 130 high-level engineers focusing on the Zune online music and video platform and services at the global level. Based at the Issy-les-Moulineaux head office, they develop products forn the Xbox Live service on PCs, mobiles and Xbox game consoles. The US company has around 200 R&D personnel in France at present, according to Microsoft France CEO Eric Boustoller.
