Microsoft releases IoT development offering

Monday 24 April 2017 | 09:20 CET | News
Microsoft unveiled Microsoft IoT Central, a new fully managed software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering built on the Azure cloud. Microsoft IoT Central is available along with Microsoft's existing platform-as-a-service (PaaS) platform, Azure IoT Suite, which enables deep customisation and full control. This new IoT SaaS offering is designed to help manufacturers increase the speed at which they can innovate and bring new products to market, as well as lower the barriers to creating IoT products. Microsoft IoT Central will be rolling out more publicly over the coming months.
