Microsoft talks to Comcast, Verizon on Xbox TV - report

Microsoft is in talks with Comcast and Verizon to deliver their TV services over its Xbox gaming console, the blog Digiday reports citing sources familiar with the matter. Consumers would be able to subscribe to Comcast or Fios TV packages directly through their Xboxes, without the need to install a set-top box. With the Xbox connected to the internet, it could also deliver other services such as interactive programming guides, sharing and messaging, as well as incorporating Microsoft's Kinect gesture-based control system.
