Microsoft to fix Windows privacy settings in EU after Dutch regulator finds violations

Microsoft has agreed to give Windows users more control over how their personal data is used by the company, after the Dutch privacy regulator found it was violating EU data protection rules. The changes will be rolled out for Windows Home and Pro users throughout the EU in a Windows 10 update planned for April.
