Microsoft to invest EUR 1 bln into data centres in Austria

Microsoft will invest EUR 1 billion in Austria over the next 2-4 years to build data centres for cloud applications such as Office 365, Der Standard reports. According to Dorothee Ritz, head of Microsoft in Austria, the investment will help create 29,000 more jobs over the next four years at Microsoft and also at local partner companies.
