Microsoft has announced that it will launch the new Xbox One game console in 21 markets around the world in November 2013. The Xbox One system will include the new console, featuring a 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray player and Wi-Fi, the new Kinect, an upgraded wireless controller and a 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold for new members.
Customers will be able to reserve commemorative “Day One” bundles at major retailers with a limited edition Xbox One Day One controller and bonus content on four games. New accessories launching in November include a play and charge kit with a lithium ion battery pack that charges twice as fast as the Xbox 360 version and an improved chat headset.
Microsoft has also unveiled a new design for the Xbox 360, shipping immediately in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland and Australia. It will reach all Xbox markets in the coming months. The redesigned Xbox 360 offers a similar look and feel to the Xbox One. The 4GB console sells for USD 199.99, the 250GB version for USD 299.99 and the 4GB Kinect Bundle for USD 299.99.
