Millicom announces USD 600 million ESG-linked credit facility

Millicom has entered into a 5-year, USD 600 million ESG-linked revolving credit facility with a syndicate of 11 commercial banks. In a statement, Millicom said the facility includes provisions that incentivise the company and some of its operating subsidiaries in Latin America to meet predetermined sustainability targets. It is the first ESG-linked facility for the company and its subsidiaries and among the first commercial bank facilities in Latin America to incorporate sustainability-linked pricing, said Millicom.
