Millicom launches EUR 500 mln senior notes offering

Millicom has announced plans to sell EUR 500 million of senior notes due in 2031 in a private offering. In a short statement, the company said net proceeds along with existing cash on balance sheet will be used to redeem 6.0 percent senior notes due in 2025. The notes conditioned upon this new offering will be redeemed at a price equal to 103 percent of the principal amount of the 2025 notes on 29 October 2020, it added.
