Millicom Q1 organic revenue falls, still sees FY growth

Wednesday 26 April 2017 | 09:53 CET | News
Millicom reported organic service revenue down 1.5 percent in the first quarter, hurt by a weak performance in Africa, but maintained its outlook for low single-digit growth over the full year. Total revenues rose 0.4 percent to USD 1.505 billion, but fell 0.4 percent on an organic basis when excluding currency effects and divestments. EBITDA, which the company no longer measures as adjusted, rose 2.8 percent to USD 555 million and was unchanged on an organic basis; Millicom still expects high to mid single-digit organic growth over the full year.
