Minister asks Telecom Italia to list network assets

Tuesday 12 December 2017 | 15:10 CET | News
The Italian government has asked Telecom Italia (TIM) to provide detailed information on the full scope of its network assets, confirmed industry minister Carlo Calenda at a telecommunications conference in Rome. Calenda is due to meet TIM's CEO Amos Genish on 13 December but doesn't expect an immediate response. "The letter is basically asking TIM to identify all material and immaterial assets that make up the network, so I don't think he (Genish) will give me a response tomorrow," said the minister, according to Reuters.
