Mobile operators agree to delay 4G legal action - report

Tuesday 11 September 2012 | 15:39 CET | News
UK mobile operators Everything Everywhere, 3 UK, Telefonica (O2) and Vodafone have signed a stand-still agreement to stop them from taking legal action to block the launch of 4G mobile services for one month, the Financial Times has learnt. This will allow talks to be held to find a collective way forward. The agreement was brokered by Jeremy Hunt, in one of his last acts as Culture Secretary. Everything Everywhere has agreed not to roll out 4G services in the month while talks are being held.
