Mobilink revenues decline 9% in Q3

Pakistani mobile operator Mobilink generated operating revenues of PKR 24 billion in the third quarter of the year, down 9 percent year-on-year. The company's EBITDA for Q3 amounted to PKR 9 billion, down 30 percent from the same period in 2013. The firm invested a total of USD 97 million in the period, up from USD 52 million in the year-ago quarter, mainly due to the network modernisation project. Mobilink ended the third quarter with 38.7 million mobile subscribers, climbing 4 percent year-on-year.
