Mobilis to provide universal access in 750 places and on 178 roads

Algerian operator Mobilis,has been selected to provide universal access in 750 areas with low population density and on 178 roads axis in Algeria, Ecofin reported. The firm was chosen after it won the contract put out to tender on 18 February by the telecom regulator. Mobilis' competitors Djezzy and Ooredoo did not submit any bids because of "restrictive clauses" in the call, which included a submission deadline of 30 days.
