Mobistar launch on Telenet network delayed - report

Mobistar may need to delay the launch of its services on the Telenet cable network until after the summer, reports De Tijd. Mobistar claims the wholesale prices for accessing the network are too high to make the services viable. The regulator BIPT is reviewing the rates, but is not expected to make a proposal until June. It will then take several months still to consult on the proposal and reach a final decision. Both Belgacom and Telenet are required to provide wholesale services at regulated conditions, but there are no customers yet for the resale offer. The BIPT recently set prices for
