Mobistar revenues down 4% to EUR 403 mln in Q2

Belgian mobile operator Mobistar reported second quarter revenues at EUR 403 million, 4 percent less than the year before. The net profit fell to EUR 54.7 million from 63.1 million. For the first half of the year, sales fell 2 percent to EUR 820.5 million, with EBITDA down almost 8 percent to EUR 249.7 million. The number of customers rose in the first six months by around 3 percent to EUR 4.2 million. About 160,000 customers now use the operator's new subscription form, ahead of new legislation that will make it possible to switch operators at no charge. Mobistar said revenues and profits
