Mobistar to launch LTE services by year-end

Mobistar plans to launch 4G services before the end of this year, the Belgian mobile operator confirmed to Telecompaper. Coverage will be limited to start, and not include Brussels, due to the strict radiation norms there. Responding to a report from consumer group Test-Aankoop/Test-Achats that reported a slow roll-out of 4G in the country, Mobistar said it has no plans to change its launch schedule. The company tested 4G for six months last year, and following the launch this autumn, plans to gradually expand the service for nationwide coverage in 2015. Spokeswoman Patti Verdoodt declined to
