Molecaten rolls out Aruba Wi-Fi networks at camping parks

Molecaten has installed Wi-Fi networks at 16 of its camping parks in the Netherlands and Hungary. Around 900 Aruba wireless access points were deployed to provide staff and visitors Wi-Fi access indoors and outdoors. Aruba said the networks will also support the launch of new IoT services to improve customer services at the sites.

Molecaten plans to roll out an app for guests this year, which will facilitate services such as food and restaurant reservations and information on facilities and events in the area. It will also be able to use the network to direct guests to activities based on their location in the park. In addition, staff can control systems such as lighting, heating, cleaning teams, POS displays and CCTV over the wireless network.
