Phoenix Tower International announced a definitive agreement to purchase over 815 wireless towers from Monaco Telecom at its operations in Cyprus and Malta. The deal also covers newly constructed wireless towers over six years across Malta and Cyprus through a build-to-suit programme for the local operators operating under the name Epic.
No financial details of the takeover were disclosed. Phoenix and Monaco Telecom established a long-term partnership whereby Monaco Telecom will occupy the sites for at least twenty years.
