Monaco Telecom starts deploying 5G network with Huawei

Monaco Telecom has inaugurated its first 5G antennas in the Principality with a live demonstration of a connected drone broadcasting 360-degree HD footage to a VR headset. The opening of this first pilot area, coinciding with the Monaco Yacht Show, follows the recent renewed agreement between Monaco Telecom and Huawei, which collaborated on the roll-out of 1Gbps LTE services in 2017.
