Monaco Telecom taps OpenCloud LTE network virtualisation

Monaco Telecom has chosen UK-based telecom software provider OpenCloud's Sentinel VoLTE network virtualisation software to deliver multi-media telephony services (MMTel AS) and the service centralisation and continuity applications (SCC AS). These enable the interoperation and handover of calls between the legacy network and the VoLTE/IMS/LTE network. Because OpenCloud's products are open, the operator owned by French telecom entrepreneur Xavier Niel will be able to freely develop vendor-neutral service extensions
