Moody's downgrade scuttles KPN, Telefonica deal

A Moody's downgrade scuttled the agreement between KPN and Telefonica, Dutch paper Het Financieele Dagblad concluded. Moody's downgraded the status of Telefonica and of Spain as well, making a deal too risky for the Spanish telecom company.
