More and more Germans go online via smartphone but shun VR goggles

More and more people in Germany are using a smartphone for their internet access and a rising number go online on a larger screen as well, but Virtual Reality goggles are not penetrating the market, according to the TNS Convergence Monitor from Kantar TNS. Its survey of 1,535 people aged 14 to 69 found that 87 percent use a smartphone, up from 43 percent in 2013 and from 17 percent in 2011.
