More banks offer P2P payment app Paymit

The peer-to-peer (P2P) payment app Paymit by mobile payment provider Six has started providing its service to another four Swiss banks following UBS and the Cantonal Bank of Zurich, inside-it.ch reports. Soon, the Raiffeisen as well as the Cantonal Banks Geneva (BCGE), Waadt (BCV) and Lucerne (LUKB) will offer the payment app to their private customers, allowing them to make money transactions free of charge. Paymit can be used by all Swiss residents with a Swiss mobile number, regardless of their banks. Preparations are underway to offer the services to business clients as well.
