More Dutch consumers have 4G on tablets

Wednesday 6 April 2016 | 11:17 CET | News
Around 8 percent of consumers said they can use 4G over their tablet and 7 percent have 3G access, according to the latest results from the Telecompaper Consumer panel. Around 85 percent have Wi-Fi on their tablets, down from 91 percent a year ago.  The share of tablets with 4G increased by 3 percent points from a year ago, likely supported by more 4G devices available on the market. The drop in Wi-Fi access on tablets may be down more to consumers not knowing how their device connects. Nine percent said they were unaware how their tablet connects to the internet.
